Coaching For DINOS Families:

Living with a dog who has behavior issues is really hard. Even if you have a dog trainer, a vet, and a behaviorist in your corner, it can still feel overwhelming and lonely. That’s where I come in. I’ve been supporting families who live with challenging dogs (including behaviors such as: reactivity, fear, aggression, separation anxiety, etc.) for more than 15 years as a dog walker, animal shelter worker, compassion fatigue educator, and creator of Dogs in Need of Space.

I’ll bring everything I know to our sessions and, through a combination of coaching, consulting, and cheerleading, I’ll support you as you care for your dog. We’ll troubleshoot, I’ll listen to your stories and share some of my experiences with similar situations, and we’ll come up with simple steps to help you manage your own stress, see your situation from a new perspective and make the tough choices, so that you can enjoy life more!

The sessions focus on supporting YOU as you care for your dog. These sessions are your time. You bring the agenda and we partner up to address it together. We’ll celebrate your successes (no matter how small) and you’ll get support to face challenges, so that you can feel energized again.

Powerful questions will help provide clarity about what your next best steps might be and accountability will provide the structure you need to make healthy changes.

Families I’ve worked with have told me that they feel more comfortable advocating for their dogs’ needs, are more hopeful, less isolated and stressed, and feel validated in their choices. And we laugh a lot.

I never offer dog training, medical, or behavioral advice. That’s not my area of expertise. I’m there to support you, the human, so that you can feel less overwhelmed, more (realistically) optimistic, and confident about your choices.

Seasonal Support Package: Having someone caring in your corner (who really gets it) can make all the difference when you’re in it for the long haul or tackling really tough decisions. Sometimes there are no answers and we need help learning to live with the tension of not-knowing. I’m here for all of that, so you can feel calm, clear, and connected.

This package includes (6) 30 minutes sessions, for a full season of support. Over the course of three months, we’ll meet every other week for 30 minutes with email support in between. You’ll feel supported, empowered to make good choices, and gain clarity about your situation, so you can feel confident caring for yourself and your dog: $495

Are you interested in working with me? Here’s how to get started:

Step 1a. Schedule a complimentary, no-obligation discovery call. You can do that right here.

Step 1b. When you’re scheduling your session, you’ll be directed to answer a few questions from me. Before we hop on the phone, I’d like to know a bit about you and what you’d like to get out of coaching with me.

Step 2. At the scheduled time of your discovery call, we’ll discover each other! We’ll use the opportunity to make sure we’re the perfect fit before you commit.

Step 3. Then we’ll get started! If you decide to work with me, I’ll tell you the exact steps for getting started. If you decide not to work with me or if we aren’t a perfect fit, I’m happy to share other resources to help you get what you need.

Have questions? Email me.

I also offer individual coaching for people who work with animals professionally and need compassion fatigue-related support.

You can learn more about that here.
