Coaching For DINOS Families:
Living with a dog who has behavior issues is really hard. Even if you have a dog trainer, a vet, and a behaviorist in your corner, it can still feel overwhelming and lonely. That’s where I come in. I’ve been supporting families who live with challenging dogs (including behaviors such as: reactivity, fear, aggression, separation anxiety, etc.) for more than 15 years as a dog walker, animal shelter worker, compassion fatigue educator, and creator of Dogs in Need of Space.
I’ll bring everything I know to our sessions and, through a combination of coaching, consulting, and cheerleading, I’ll support you as you care for your dog. We’ll troubleshoot, I’ll listen to your stories and share some of my experiences with similar situations, and we’ll come up with simple steps to help you manage your own stress, see your situation from a new perspective and make the tough choices, so that you can enjoy life more!
The sessions focus on supporting YOU as you care for your dog. These sessions are your time. You bring the agenda and we partner up to address it together. We’ll celebrate your successes (no matter how small) and you’ll get support to face challenges, so that you can feel energized again.
Powerful questions will help provide clarity about what your next best steps might be and accountability will provide the structure you need to make healthy changes.
Families I’ve worked with have told me that they feel more comfortable advocating for their dogs’ needs, are more hopeful, less isolated and stressed, and feel validated in their choices. And we laugh a lot.
I never offer dog training, medical, or behavioral advice. That’s not my area of expertise. I’m there to support you, the human, so that you can feel less overwhelmed, more (realistically) optimistic, and confident about your choices. There are two options available:
For one month, we’ll partner up and dig in to your experiences. You’ll feel supported, empowered to make good choices, and gain clarity about your situation, so you can feel confident caring for yourself and your dog: $295
